NBLO attends the Sports Law & Business Conference in Manchester
16 March 2018The Sports Law & Business Conference was held on Friday 16 March at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and organized by St John’s Buildings, in conjunction with the Centre for Sports Law Research at Edge Hill University.
As a law firm with expertise in sports law, New Balkans Law Office was honoured to attend. Our partner, Yordan Neshkov, took part and contributed to the discussions on current issues in the sports law space.
This year’s event attracted 160 delegates, and some of the topics discussed include:
- Sports Media: Brand Rights in the Digital Single Market
- E-Sports: Legal issues and opportunities in this developing area
- Safeguarding: Ensuring the safety of participants & the possibility of future litigation
- Sports disciplinary and arbitration panels The need for a transfer system in professional sport
- Equality in sport
Having acted for teams, agents and players before (in particular in football), and given our international connections (both of our partners are admitted to practise in England), NBLO will be glad to assist in any sports law matter. For more information, please, contact us.
