Yordan is a Bulgarian advocate (a member of the Sofia Bar) and a registered European lawyer with the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority in England and Wales. He has had wide-ranging experience in commercial, civil and administrative dispute resolution, representing clients at all levels of Bulgarian courts (including regularly in cassation applications to the Supreme Court of Cassation; in proceedings in the Sofia and regional appellate courts; and in the separate jurisdiction of the administrative courts), in Bulgarian and international arbitral tribunals, and others.
Yordan has a particular expertise in insurance, real estate, commercial, insolvency and labour contentious matters. He speaks English and German.
Clients appreciate Yordan’s robust and goal-orientated style, and his determined, proactive and commercial opinion. He is a sharp opponent and a resourceful negotiator.
Before joining NBLO team in 2010, Yordan worked at Legal 500 law firm in Bulgaria and became a partner in 2017.
