The Bulgarian taxation system has made enormous progress in the last decade and a half and is perhaps the aspect of Bulgarian central administration which presents the most Western face. We are involved in providing legal advice in the context of market entry (including corporate income tax planning, VAT registration and planning and withholding taxation). We work closely with specialist tax consultants to provide a seamless service to corporate, commercial, I.P. and capital market clients, among others.

We have experience in advising clients on the Bulgarian double taxation treaty implications as well as assessing cross-border tax implications. We also provide advice on REIT incorporation and tax-transparent structures.
