Raising funds on AIM
It is the first Bulgarian AIM event and the first event dealing with admissions to trading overseas in Bulgaria. After joining the EU just over a year ago, Bulgaria's economy and domestic capital markets have been growing rapidly and have have integrated internationally. A large number of Bulgarian businesses are of the right size, profile and appetite for capital to be of interest to investors in growth companies in London and to be themselves interested in admission to an international market.

More about the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange
AIM was developed for the needs of growth companies which might not meet the criteria for listing on the Main Market or for whom a more flexible regulatory environment is more fitting. The entry criteria for AIM make it possible to gain admission without a trading record, without an established management team or without aspiring to a minimum market capitalisation. AIM thus gives companies the opportunity to raise funds and trade securities on a capital market at an earlier stage in their business cycle, though they may expect to move to the Main Market. Collectively, AIM companies have raised more than Lv 140 billion while on AIM.
We look forward to seeing you in Sofia.
